RS GCSE Short course – Worship and Key Beliefs.Number of lessons per fortnight: 1 Curriculum: All students will complete the RS short course over two years. The course is in comparative religion and students will do an in depth study of Christianity and Islam in which they compare and contrast the two religions. In evaluating the shared Abrahamic Tradition, they will develop their conceptual understanding and evaluate the effect of key beliefs on the believer’s life and values. Topics covered are:
Assessment Assessments and monitoring of progress will then take place on a half termly basis. Assessment will also take place through class work and end of unit tests.
Homework: Homework will be project based work and will be available to all parents and pupils on Fronter. Homework will be set on a half termly basis.
